Aiden's First Vacation

So we decided to be adventurous this summer and take our 2 1/2 month old on a week long vacation. We started off in San Antonio with the Baldwin's and Bumguardner's on the river walk. It was an awesome time!! One thing is for sure, we did our share of eating on this trip!! Then we made our way to South Padre Island where we couldn't have asked for better weather. Aiden was a champ as he layed out on the beach under a tent and selpt from 10:30 to 4, while we got to enjoy soaking up the sun and getting in the water. Our next stop was the 7 hour drive from Padre to Bryan, where we had our 10 year HS reunion. We were worried about this trip, but once again Aiden, suprised us and slept most of the way. Aiden got to visit Grams and Gramps, Aunt Becca, as well as see his Aunt Melissa, Uncle Ray, Cousin Claribel, G and Popsi, and Monie!!! Oh how we hated having to come back to Abilene in to all of this 100 degree heat!!

Welcome Baby Aiden

After an exciting afternoon, evening, and night on Sunday, our sweet baby Aiden was born at 4:27am Monday, May 9th, 2011....8lbs 8oz, 21 inches long and just precious!!
